Quality Issues in The Raw Materials And Production Process Of Artificial Turf

1. Uneven lawn color and color difference
The processing and production of grass fibers with different color codes into lawns and paving them on a single site will result in color differences.
Ensuring consistent thickness and uniform appearance of each batch of grass fibers is a highly technical task. The grass fiber raw materials produced by drawing equipment that does not meet the required technical requirements often have color differences.
2. Significant fading and uneven fading after exposure to sunlight. The stability and color fastness under UV irradiation are important indicators for evaluating artificial turf.
3. The occurrence of shedding or cracking of artificial turf is often due to insufficient strength and wear resistance of the bottom lining. After a period of corrosion, aging, and small displacement wear, the durability of the bottom lining is a key issue in the quality of artificial turf.
4. The problem of wire shedding on the site may also be caused by uneven bottom and back scraping, immature scraping process, or low wear resistance of grass fibers. Especially for teenage athletes, the phenomenon of shedding silk often affects their health.
5. The grass thread is not bright enough, has strong friction and static electricity, and has a sense of stagnation.
The anti-static performance and brightness are also key factors in the competition of artificial turf products, which are related to the product's scratch coefficient and final sports effect. The evaluation of the quality of artificial turf, like other products, mainly depends on the selection of raw materials such as grass fibers and bottom lining, as well as the maturity and stability of post-treatment processes such as scraping glue.
