Kindergarten Artificial Lawn Maintenance
Nov 19, 2023
1. Artificial turf trimming:
Within six to eight weeks after paving, it is necessary to clean the artificial lawn every week, sweep the gravel evenly, and ensure that the grass stems are upright and the gravel is even, with the aim of maintaining the height of the gravel at a level of 18 to 20 millimeters. When encountering snow, it is forbidden to step on it immediately. The surface should be cleaned of floating snow before use. Artificial turf should be rinsed with clean water between 3 and 6 months after use to maintain its original color, allowing the quartz sand to settle appropriately and stabilize the protection of the lawn.
2. Foreign objects in artificial turf:
Leaves, pine needles, nuts, chewing gum, etc. can cause tangles, spots, and stains, especially before exercise. Such foreign objects should be avoided from damaging artificial lawns.
3. Artificial turf seepage:
It is necessary to prevent external sewage from seeping into the lawn and flushing foreign objects. During construction, placing a circle of edge stones (curbstones) on the edge of the lawn can prevent sewage from seeping in.
4. Precautions for using artificial turf:
The artificial turf sports field is only used for physical education classes and athlete training competitions, and cannot be used for other purposes. Professional sports shoes must be worn when entering the field. Smoking butts, sparks, soaked sugar, organic solvents, and chemicals are prohibited from entering the venue. Prohibit wearing 7mm long spiked shoes to run on the lawn; Prohibit any motor vehicle from driving on the lawn; Prohibit heavy objects from being placed on the lawn for a long time; Prohibit deliberate lifting of artificial turf edges and boundaries; Shot put, javelin, discus, or other high fall sports are prohibited from being played on the lawn.
