Diredawa Stadium Renovation Completed, Artificial Turf Optimizes Home Venue Conditions for League Matches

The long-standing stadium in Diredawa has completed venue renovation and officially launched brand-new artificial turf.

Restricted by local climate, the original natural grass was in poor condition all year round with uneven ground during league matches, increasing the risk of player injuries. The renovated artificial turf has excellent drainage performance, which can quickly drain water after heavy rains and maintain long-term field flatness. Diredawa City Football Club takes this stadium as its home venue for league matches, and the field is also open for youth football training.
